Lift chair

My dog got his leg caught up in the chair and the Fire Department had to cut him out of the chair because the life was stuck i have insurance on the chair but the store manager is the Aberdeen NC store said that they can't help me and I told him that the chair is no longer usable and I refuse to pay for a chair that is no longer any good to me so what do you advise I asked if I could change out the chair for another one he said NO!

Bad product bad customer service

I purchase a washing machine two months ago and I reported that the washing machine was not working and the associates and the manger sent me to gereal appliance to get me out the way I call over and over again and they gave me the run around and now they tell me there nothing they can do to help but I will never buy anything from them again and I will tell everyone if you need anything for your home go some were else cause Badcock is rip off I will never spend a dime with them.

I saw there was a living room set on sale that I had noticed in the store and thought it was really nice. The price was right, I needed furniture so I ordered it over the phone and had it delivered to the house.

The salesperson was very helpful because I had covid she came and picked up the deposit. She was very patient with me not being sure of what I wanted. There was exchanging of things and reordering a cushion that was damaged. By the time my living room set was completely in my house everything included over a month had passed.

Now when I go to complain to corporate they tell me that I have to get in line to have someone come to the house and assess the furniture. Now you know by the time they get here everything wrong is going to be considered wear and tear because of the time frame. The cushion that had to be replaced was the long cushion for the chase on this sectional. When the new one arrived 6 weeks later it was all wonky and was hanging over the sides just too big, not made correctly.

When you sit on it it sounds like you're sitting on a bunch of crumpled up hard plastic bags. This is very disappointing. Also the furniture is just substandard the cushions are not properly filled some of the corners are empty and the centers are higher. I just want some satisfaction, someone to come to the house and say yeah this furniture is screwed up.

But they're going to send a repairman who is not going to see it the same way that I do as a customer that has to sit on this furniture. Anyway the customer service sucks. They don't make themselves very accessible I asked for an email address there is none listed anywhere on any of their sites that is open to accept emails. Twice I was told they would send me a letter so I can respond with the photos.

Just so I had the time frame locked in. Then even if it takes him 2 months to get here I put those pictures in 2 months ago and they can't say these things just happened. which is what's going to happen. I'm really disappointed in badcock I purchased a set of furniture from them years ago and loved it but this furniture sucks it's not worth the money I live on disability check this is the largest purchase I've ever made for myself and I deserve to enjoy this.

Let's see if anybody does anything for me. when I went to complain at the store level they had a brand new manager there that did not know me or the fact that I was in the store plenty of times did not know the furniture I was speaking of and gave me no satisfaction just told me that complaints are taken in the order in which they are received so I could be waiting here forever for someone to come and assess my furniture. perhaps credit, different furniture something.

Some kind of satisfaction, I deserve it $1,400 is not a drop in the hat. It's just a matter of time and we'll see what happens.

Furniture Peeling_ Warranty Loop-Holes for the Company_SCAM

We purchased a bedroom set from Badcock. Please note, that we paid cash $5K, and we elected to pay for the protection plan.

Only to learn today, the salesperson decided which pieces to cover, without consulting with us.

Now we are stuck with peeling night stands and the company WILL NOT TRY and rectify this situation.

The sales receipt does not indicate which pieces were covered, and we had no way of knowing that we weren't fully covered. I called corporate office and was told, there is no way to confirm the conversation that occurred between us and the salesperson.

I will never, ever spend another dime of my money with this company and I am about to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I bought a mahogany leather couch from the scratch and dent section of the Laurinburg, NC store on June 30th, 2022. Four months after the couch was delivered, in mid November I sat on the edge of the couch with my 175lb 6'3" self and there was a crack and a piece of wood in the frame snapped.

I immediately, carefully, stood up and turned the couch over to look underneath. The first thing I noticed was black cloth that covered the underside of the couch preventing you from seeing anything but where the wood was broken was a tear in the cloth. I examined the wood and saw something that would have changed my mind completely about purchasing it, where the wood broke was a knot that the crack in the wood went completely and only threw the knot. A knot gave the frame a seriously bad weak spot and if the black cloth wasn't there and upon examining the couch I would have seen that knot in the frame and never purchased it.

Besides my car, this couch was my largest purchase ever and I expected the couch to last until my death. Now it's broken because of a manufacturing defect that in no way could have been seen upon examining the couch because of the cloth covering the complete underside of the couch. I feel since the cloth covered the defect completely preventing anyone from knowing about it except the person putting the couch together.

The knot should have been caught during manufacturing. It's a very bad knot that is about an inch or so wide at it's thinnest point and runs all the way through the frame where it's at making a seriously bad weak spot that we should be refunded or the couch fixed for free

Rude from the saleperson

Reason why I am texting you is because the owner called me on 9/11/23 telling me when the deliverance would be out and I explain to her could he come after 1pm and she said no. He has a stop in jones county at 9am and should be at your house at 10:50. That the time she had an appointment so we called and had it move to 1:10. Then at 11;13 Larry calked and stated they would be 32 minutes before I reach your house you telling me it would be 11:45am. Her appointment is in Athen Ga. So I told him I would be leaving at 11:30 am.

I sat on the couch and a supporting piece of wood broke that was hidden and covered up by the material on the back of the couch. The piece of wood that broke, broke at a knot that went completely through the piece of wood that was the support and was only seen after the broken wood tore through the fabric that was there to cover it up because the broken wood tore through the fabric

Had my Rocker recliner love seat 4yrs. A bar they call them rails broke.

I went to the store to see if I could have one ordered. I have to wait until the store manager. OK. No call.

Call back SM gone to FL to meeting. Called corporate. Yes, you can order the part, but you have to go through your local store. Call back to store.

Ask why SM has not called, death in family. I wait. No call a week later. So I call he'll call Friday or Saturday OK.

No call now it's Wednesday. I call Corporate, now they don't have the part because it discontinued, It's A 16 INCH BAR. Really. Be careful buying furniture from them.

I'm not rough with my furniture. I live alone.

First you have it, then you don't. Was that, so I go some place else.

Billing Complaint

On 03/28/23 I purchased furniture from the Badcock location in Flagler Beach FL. During the transaction I wanted to add the purchase to my existing credit account.

The associate indicated that I did not have enough credit available, and I would need to make an additional payment which I did so in store. The purchase was finalized, and we received our furniture shortly afterwards.

During the purchase I was advised by the associate that the transaction would reflect as my payment, and I would not have another payment due until the May billing cycle. Since this is what I was told by the associate, I did not make a 4/2023 payment to my account.

I received a letter in the mail dated 04/26/23 indicating that I had a past due amount of $240.00.

On 05/01/23 I called Badcock at 9:10 am and spoke with Emily. I explained my issue and was told that the payment I made on 3/2023 was not recorded as a payment, but a down payment.

She further indicated that there was no way for them to go back and correct the issue.

I made a payment of $305.00 on 5/1/2023 which I was told was credited towards my outstanding balance and that I still have the May payment to satisfy but they could fix the issue by deferring it to 6/2023 but I would have to authorize them for autopay. I asked why I couldn't just pay online like I always do but she indicated that the only way to satisfy this was the auto pay option so it would not reflect in my credit reporting as an outstanding balance.

I would like to have this issue corrected by a billing adjustment:

- 03/28/23 payment reflected as a payment to my account which would satisfy my 04/23 payment.

- Payment that I made on 5/1/2023 credited towards my 5/2023 payment.

- No reporting to my credit report as a past due amount.

Terrible service

On today 7/8/28 one of my employees & I went into the Walterboro SC store to purchase a $899 refrigerator cash,but because you're employees didn't even acknowledge us we left. There was no one else in the store. They didn't speak nor offer any assistance. Made us feel like we didn't matter so we'll shop elsewhere.

Should have been trained better

I got 4 items. The first ,. stove doesn't come with cord Second, table and chairs wobbly. Third, refrigerator had to unscrew door to get in the house. The ice machine doesn't work! I watched U tube videos to troubleshoot (Nope). Third, I was told by movers they can't install my dishwasher. And they're just supposed to drop them off. It's still in the box.
