Won't honor my warranty

I brought a couch and payed off with warranty... warranty is still good couch is broken..got the run around in Cullman for 5 months..they are rude there...this couch is in bad repair..I am 67 and have fallen over the foot piece on this couch many times..the Badcock employees in Cullman laugh at being told this..I understand Badcock is going out of business but should still honor the warrantyhave nicer employees and honor your warranty

Bad customer service to good customer

I have a tempted on three separate occasions now as the end of my contract against expire, only two payments left after paying 2 years, and I seem to have gotten the wrong number. I called around memorial weekend about sending me a technician of someone to help repair my recliner which is an elevated clown because I am handicapped veteran and have trouble getting in and out of my sitting position or lying position.

As the first attempt I was told that someone will be calling me back after the holiday weekend memorial Day someone would give me a call that Tuesday after memorial Day. I'm still waiting on that person to call. I again, try to arrange the same solution to the same problem and was told that a technician by the name of Jeff would be calling me back but they work order. It has been 2 weeks now I'm not heard from Jeff or anyone else.

In the many time I've fallen out of my chair and had to be hospitalized again because I stumbled didn't hold but I stumbled enough to cross problems with surgery that I had previously that required a chair. I called regional office in South Florida Palm Beach gardens and they in the kids that I had the wrong number that she called mulberry Georgia which I tried to call today I sit on the phone 30 minutes waiting on someone to pick up which is, I think, a long enough time for someone to at least answer. I begin to wonder if anyone even works in this part of the company anymore. My family has been dealing with badcocks since I was born I know tha for a fact.

I dealt with it and my daughter and granddaughter who are now adults have dealt with badcock in the past. I'm the oldest of 20 children I have 103 nieces and nephews with your old adults 43 this is a nephews which all but for adults. I'm beginning to tell them about my adventure with badcock. Because they don't make the same mistake.

I have a relatively worship professional business regulation department of the State of Florida who asked that I lodge a complaint through their office. I am a veteran I believe in using the chain of command. I agree this is what I propose that's someone called me as soon as possible or we can just forget about the last two payments that I owe you and I'll use that money to help fix my chair and help pay my last hospital bill at the doctor's office and the emergency room. please get in touch with me as soon as possible my name is Johnny White I live in Tallahassee Florida my account number is 7656-50**-**14-3557.

Complaint Details Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my account and to request a resolution regarding recent issues I have encountered. I do not accept the outcome that sent back to me regarding my account details.

I request for this to be sent to the management team. You can not mislead people like you have done to me and think it can be swept under the rug like you did to me. I will continue to fight this. I have connections to our local news and paper.

When I initially set up my payment plan, I was advised by one of your representatives that my minimum monthly payment would be $40.00. Based on this information, I adhered to this amount, believing it was sufficient to keep my account in good standing. However, I have recently discovered that my account has been subject to late fees and interest charges due to this payment arrangement. Had I been made aware that a higher payment was necessary to avoid late fees, I would have adjusted my payment accordingly.

The misinformation I received has led to unnecessary financial consequences, including negative impacts on my credit report. In light of these circumstances, I am requesting the following actions be taken: Waiver of any late fees and interest charges applied to my account. Removal of any negative entries from my credit report that resulted from these issues. I trust you will review my account history and recognize the validity of my concerns.

I have always intended to meet my financial obligations, and this situation arose solely from the incorrect information provided by your representative. I was completely misled and scammed by this sales person.

I have called your customer service phone five times to get resolution, and I've contacted the store where the furniture was purchased from, and still no resolution as to where check 1106 in the amount of $1,000.00 is. When was it mailed out on 5/28/24?

I'm pretty sure someone is holding on to it because the furniture will be paid off next month, so you can claim you never received it so you can charge all the late fees and interest to make money. It is funny how you have received all the checks from the past 5-6 months sent out around the same time at the end of each month, to the same address but it is now June 13, 2024, and this one has still not been posted. This is not my first time at the rodeo, I know how to play your game! I've researched your business on the BBB website and you have demonstrated time and time again, bad business ethics!

Can someone please research where this check went? Thank you!

18 more after I bought my sectional and out of manufacturer warranty the pleather started to peel...badcock pretty much said sorry...it sucks to be you..it is extreme hard and very rare that they hold up their end..always an excuse why it's not covered

DO NOT USE BADCOCK...IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!

I paid $2500 and got a$500 sectional.

Lift chair

My dog got his leg caught up in the chair and the Fire Department had to cut him out of the chair because the life was stuck i have insurance on the chair but the store manager is the Aberdeen NC store said that they can't help me and I told him that the chair is no longer usable and I refuse to pay for a chair that is no longer any good to me so what do you advise I asked if I could change out the chair for another one he said NO!

Bad product bad customer service

I purchase a washing machine two months ago and I reported that the washing machine was not working and the associates and the manger sent me to gereal appliance to get me out the way I call over and over again and they gave me the run around and now they tell me there nothing they can do to help but I will never buy anything from them again and I will tell everyone if you need anything for your home go some were else cause Badcock is rip off I will never spend a dime with them.

I saw there was a living room set on sale that I had noticed in the store and thought it was really nice. The price was right, I needed furniture so I ordered it over the phone and had it delivered to the house.

The salesperson was very helpful because I had covid she came and picked up the deposit. She was very patient with me not being sure of what I wanted. There was exchanging of things and reordering a cushion that was damaged. By the time my living room set was completely in my house everything included over a month had passed.

Now when I go to complain to corporate they tell me that I have to get in line to have someone come to the house and assess the furniture. Now you know by the time they get here everything wrong is going to be considered wear and tear because of the time frame. The cushion that had to be replaced was the long cushion for the chase on this sectional. When the new one arrived 6 weeks later it was all wonky and was hanging over the sides just too big, not made correctly.

When you sit on it it sounds like you're sitting on a bunch of crumpled up hard plastic bags. This is very disappointing. Also the furniture is just substandard the cushions are not properly filled some of the corners are empty and the centers are higher. I just want some satisfaction, someone to come to the house and say yeah this furniture is screwed up.

But they're going to send a repairman who is not going to see it the same way that I do as a customer that has to sit on this furniture. Anyway the customer service sucks. They don't make themselves very accessible I asked for an email address there is none listed anywhere on any of their sites that is open to accept emails. Twice I was told they would send me a letter so I can respond with the photos.

Just so I had the time frame locked in. Then even if it takes him 2 months to get here I put those pictures in 2 months ago and they can't say these things just happened. which is what's going to happen. I'm really disappointed in badcock I purchased a set of furniture from them years ago and loved it but this furniture sucks it's not worth the money I live on disability check this is the largest purchase I've ever made for myself and I deserve to enjoy this.

Let's see if anybody does anything for me. when I went to complain at the store level they had a brand new manager there that did not know me or the fact that I was in the store plenty of times did not know the furniture I was speaking of and gave me no satisfaction just told me that complaints are taken in the order in which they are received so I could be waiting here forever for someone to come and assess my furniture. perhaps credit, different furniture something.

Some kind of satisfaction, I deserve it $1,400 is not a drop in the hat. It's just a matter of time and we'll see what happens.

Furniture Peeling_ Warranty Loop-Holes for the Company_SCAM

We purchased a bedroom set from Badcock. Please note, that we paid cash $5K, and we elected to pay for the protection plan.

Only to learn today, the salesperson decided which pieces to cover, without consulting with us.

Now we are stuck with peeling night stands and the company WILL NOT TRY and rectify this situation.

The sales receipt does not indicate which pieces were covered, and we had no way of knowing that we weren't fully covered. I called corporate office and was told, there is no way to confirm the conversation that occurred between us and the salesperson.

I will never, ever spend another dime of my money with this company and I am about to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Rude from the saleperson

Reason why I am texting you is because the owner called me on 9/11/23 telling me when the deliverance would be out and I explain to her could he come after 1pm and she said no. He has a stop in jones county at 9am and should be at your house at 10:50.

That the time she had an appointment so we called and had it move to 1:10. Then at 11;13 Larry calked and stated they would be 32 minutes before I reach your house you telling me it would be 11:45am.

Her appointment is in Athen Ga. So I told him I would be leaving at 11:30 am.

I bought a mahogany leather couch from the scratch and dent section of the Laurinburg, NC store on June 30th, 2022. Four months after the couch was delivered, in mid November I sat on the edge of the couch with my 175lb 6'3" self and there was a crack and a piece of wood in the frame snapped.

I immediately, carefully, stood up and turned the couch over to look underneath. The first thing I noticed was black cloth that covered the underside of the couch preventing you from seeing anything but where the wood was broken was a tear in the cloth. I examined the wood and saw something that would have changed my mind completely about purchasing it, where the wood broke was a knot that the crack in the wood went completely and only threw the knot. A knot gave the frame a seriously bad weak spot and if the black cloth wasn't there and upon examining the couch I would have seen that knot in the frame and never purchased it.

Besides my car, this couch was my largest purchase ever and I expected the couch to last until my death. Now it's broken because of a manufacturing defect that in no way could have been seen upon examining the couch because of the cloth covering the complete underside of the couch. I feel since the cloth covered the defect completely preventing anyone from knowing about it except the person putting the couch together.

The knot should have been caught during manufacturing. It's a very bad knot that is about an inch or so wide at it's thinnest point and runs all the way through the frame where it's at making a seriously bad weak spot that we should be refunded or the couch fixed for free
