Badcock Home Furniture - Lied about Delivery and Made in USA
On 1/7/19 found two Simmons power recliners that I wanted to purchased. (Item # 118724) TAG on recliner said PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA.
I explained to them that I needed them by the 21st. They promised me delivery by 1/17/19. Great wright!!
Was told there was stock and would be no problem. Two days before promised delivery, Got a voice message from the Market st.
Location (Wilmington NC.)
That my deliver would not happen (DUE TO NO STOCK) now untill, after 1/31/19. Called their store and could not get anyone to give me an answer or call back. So I sent Three emails to customer service, finally got a call back from main office customer service. They were polite and some what helpful.
During the conversation with Brian was told by that he had searched all warehouses and locations with no avail to locating chairs. That there was NO STOCK. He told me that they were waiting on a shipment from OVERSEAS. Wait the labels on the power recliners said PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA.
Did not realized I lived in a foreign country. So to sum up this senerio, The sales people at the Market street Wilmington NC. Location plain out lied to me about stock and delivery. Charged me an extra $99.00 for delivery.
Then made a big deal about these chairs being MADE IN THE USA then the corporate customer support said no stock and waiting for shipment from OVERSEAS. Still waiting for resolution.
Out looking else where.
